PAW PAW — Seven transfer stations throughout Van Buren County will be undergoing infrastructure upgrades thanks to a state grant.

Van Buren Conservation District reported this past week that it is in line to receive a $625,000 grant from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy to upgrade the transfer stations that people use to discard refuse and recyclables. Much of the grant funding will be used to promote recycling efforts at the transfer stations.
